How To Fix Computer’s Sound?

I recently got my computer back from being repaired and now no speakers or earphones work through it. I know the speakers work as I’ve tried them on other things and they work fine. How can I fix this?

If you have cd from your motherboard, try to use it to install drivers for sound card. maybe the one who repaired your computer did not put sound card drivers on it…

First make sure the latest driver is installed from the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) if applicable.

Make sure the sound card is properly seated in the MOBO (Motherboard) is applicable. On the sound card (on the back), there may be a wheel, set it halfway, if applicable.

If there is a sound volume knob on the speakers, set it to about halfway.

Control Panel > Sound, set the main volume to ‘Full’ with the slider control.

Make sure the speaker plug is inserted on the card or MOBO plug.

Too bad you gave no info as to ‘WHAT YA GOT’, OS wise. The more info you give, the better the answers.
