i think my computer has a virus and i ran ca security center i ran search for problems on spy bot and some other thing and they fixed somethings but for some reason my firewall keeps failing to launch one day i bought counter strike source and i had to stop all microsoft programs to play and then when i enabled them my firewall didn’t launch also i turned on my computer and it’s saying unable to find hardrives 1 and 2 so it wouldn’t boot up please help oh yea my firewall is windows defender

It doesn’t seem like a virus, it just seems like your computer is full of a lot of programs which don’t work well together.

I’ll try and help you to solve this problem, and these steps will require you to download better programs, so don’t hesitate, the downloads are 100% safe and free.

Step 1: Uninstall anything you don’t use anymore. These things can slow down your computer.

Step 2: Run Disk Clean Up and Disk Defragmenter. If you don’t know how, go to "start", go to all programs, then go to accesories, and the go to system tools, here you should find Disk Defragmenter and Disk Clean Up.

Step 3: Uninstall all of your security programs, which includes all antiviruses, antispywares and even your firewall! Trust me, you’ll need to remove them for the next step!

Step 5: Once you got one of those anti virus programs, get a good anti spyware program! The best free ones are AVG Anti Spyware, and Spybot Search and Destroy. Once again, get ONE of these, install and scan.

Step 6: Now it’s time for your firewall. Make sure you removed your old one! Download this ZoneAlarm Firewall for free and install it, very easy to use and safe. Here’s the link:
